3D Plastic Circular Polarised Glasses

D active glasses are probably the most high-tech way to view a 3D broadcast. Lenses are filled with a crystal solution which becomes opaque as a current passes through it, which links up with a timing signal from the TV or screen, to alternately block one eye, and then the other, in synchronization with the refresh rate of the screen.

The beauty of 3D active glasses is that they can be used again and again, and many models have replaceable batteries, which extends the life of the glasses further still. They also actively protect the wearer from eye strain while in use, thanks to the millisecond response time.

Naturally, these are a more expensive solution, but their extended lifespan means that the cost evens out over time. They’re perfect for a luxury home cinema setup and help to create lifelike images which are hard to beat.
